Who is it suitable for?

Emmi-Pet can be a great option for dogs who:

  • Have mild to moderate plaque or tartar build-up

  • Experience bad breath

  • Would benefit from regular dental maintenance

  • Dislike brushing or are sensitive to noise and handling

  • Are not suitable for sedation-based dental procedures

I offer gentle, non-invasive ultrasonic teeth cleaning using the Emmi-Pet system - a calm and stress-free way to support your dog’s dental health.

Unlike traditional brushing, Emmi-Pet uses silent ultrasonic waves to clean the teeth and gums without any vibration or noise. This makes it especially suitable for dogs who may be sensitive, nervous, or uncomfortable with standard brushing.

The ultrasonic action creates millions of tiny microbubbles that help to break down plaque and bacteria. The waves can also reach below the gum line, helping to support gum health and reduce bacteria in areas that brushing alone can’t reach — contributing to fresher breath and healthier gums over time.

What to expect

Your dog’s first session is a gentle introduction, allowing them to become comfortable with the process at their own pace.

Each dog has their own personal toothbrush head, which is hygienically stored and used for future sessions.

The number of sessions needed can vary depending on your dog’s teeth, as well as how they respond to the process. Some dogs show improvement quite quickly, while others benefit from a series of sessions followed by regular maintenance.

Important to note: Emmi-Pet is a maintenance treatment and does not replace professional veterinary dental care. If your dog has severe tartar build-up or signs of dental disease, veterinary advice may be recommended.
